The Provider or a customer cannot log in to the Parallels Operations Automation (POA) or Parallels Business Automation (PBA) Control Panel, or switch between the two control panels. The Control Panel is not accessible, or shows error messages like:
An unforeseen error occurred
Billing is not available now
Server BM_Container is not available
The corresponding service is not available at the moment, try it within 2-3 minutes.
This article describes basic troubleshooting steps for when the Parallels Automation Control Panel is down or is giving an internal server error.
There are many possible causes of Parallels Automation Control Panel unavailability:
Stopped or hung servers
Stopped or hung services
Lack of resources (e.g., memory, diskspace) on servers
Network connectivity issues (firewall)
- Expired license
Below, you will find more details on checking for the above causes and troubleshooting them.
First, identify which Control Panel is causing problems - POA or PBA.
Usually, all users log in to the POA Control Panel first and then switch to the PBA Control Panel. In most cases, then, if a user cannot log in to the control panel, this means they cannot log in to the POA control panel.
Follow the steps in the Parallels Knowledgebase article POA Control Panel is down or inaccessible: Known Issues and Troubleshooting to resolve problems with POA Control Panel unavailability.
If users experience problems when switching from POA Control Panel to PBA, the first step to troubleshoot the problem is to check if it is possible to log in to the PBA Control Panel directly.
Use the Parallels Knowledgebase article PBA Control Panel is down or inaccessible: Known Issues and Troubleshooting to resolve problems with PBA Control Panel unavailability.
If opening PBA Control Panel directly works but it is still not possible to switch to it from the POA Control Panel, use the Parallels Knowledgebase article Switch from POA Control Panel to PBA does not work: Known Issues and Troubleshooting to resolve the problem.
